MRS. GLYNIS BURTON-JENKINS

In addition to helping the poor in India and Africa, Glynis Burton-Jenkins is a founder and director of Montréal's Extended Hands, a food bank and community kitchen serving the people of Lachine.

For more than fifteen years, she has devoted her energy to feeding families in need, distributing clothing and offering a hot meal every week. Her unwavering commitment has made Extended Hands a true pillar of the community.

"Helping others is not a chore, it's a calling," she likes to remind the volunteers who join the organization.
